C Series - Dessert filling line

Do you have a solution for accurate placement of trays and pots?

A dessert manufacturer wanted to improve their production line. On a morning staff would load up platens with trays and pots to be placed onto racks. The next process; the platens would be manually taken off the racks and placed under the filling station. Platens couldn’t be filled as quickly as the dessert filler runs so preparation time in the morning was needed.

They approached Partners in Packaging to ask for a solution to make their line more efficient by introducing one of our C-Series denesters to fill the platens directly before filling, removing the entire morning’s preparation work.  

The pots had to be accurately placed into the platens and trays had to overlap each other, so the filled platens would fit into existing rack ovens. Reliability and consistent placement were key to this project and the customer also needed the flexibility of offering different tray sizes and material types to their customers.

Two years on from installation and the machine is still running reliably.

The C Series offers reliable and accurate placement with the flexibility of handling a wide range of trays made form PET, Foil, Pressed board, card, and pulp.
