Partners in Packaging are a small but growing engineering company based near Manchester. The two Directors, Duncan and Wayne, have both worked in the packaging machinery industry for 40 years each, Duncan in sales and Wayne on the design and production of the machines. We set up Partners in Packaging initially as a distributor for leading manufacturers of machines and only five years ago, we used our experience to embark upon being a UK design and manufacturer of Tray Denesters and Card Feeders. All of the machines shown on the video and on our web site have been designed in house. In the last five years we have developed multiple special systems for a wide variety of applications, four ranges of tray denesters, the world’s best card feeder/U card feeder-folder, crash lock carton erectors, tray stack to stack systems, a range of lidding machines and the world’s fastest deep tray denester-placer. Duncan’s experience in sales and marketing has taken us into some of the largest food producers in the UK and Ireland, including Morrisons, Warburtons, Pork Farms, Ginsters, Greggs and Muller Dairies together with cooperating with many of the largest other equipment manufacturers and suppliers in the UK. Our plan for 2021 is to be recognised as the premier supplier of handling systems for biodegradable card trays and base cards. We continue to develop new ideas and concepts, unique to PiP and we are expanding our business. We are proud to announce that we have recently employed our first apprentice, the first of many.
